Dan`s Clam Stand in Homosassa

We've been waiting for this place to open back up. Newer to the area and have been wanting to try for a while. Well worth the wait...Clam chowder was the best I've ever had and the fried Clams were equally delish. Got cheese burger and fries too but definitely a great sea food spot.

Stopped for lunch on a whim. It was very tasty. Paid a fair price for a clam basket lunch special. Portions were decent and the beer was cold. I sat at a table outside. The waitress was so kind: she brought a bowl of water for my dog. I would definitely eat here again.

We really enjoyed this little place! They graciously took our party of 9 last minute on a Sat night, and took great care of our family. The food was delicious and the owner came to our crew at the end and let our children hold the fresh live lobsters and showed us lobster tricks on the table! They went the extra mile with great service!

Fried oysters and fried shrimp were excellent. Highly recommend. Staff is knowledgeable about menu items and if one couldn't answer the question, they asked another.

Always great seafood. Their clam basket with Cajun fries and hush puppies yummy. Also try the clam chowder. For non fish eaters the burgers are amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Very reasonable. Lunch under $12!
